Resonator Ping Tests
Here is a sampling of some banjo resonators that I have held the same distance from the same microphone and pinged with the same object. This is interesting but not supposed to be conclusive in any way. These banjo resonators were suspended on the pad of my index finger at the neck notch struck with the same force with the tip of my finger on the inside of the resonator with the resonator’s inside pointed toward the microphone. This may satisfy someone’s curiosity. Please let me know what you think.
