Cowboys and Indians by Bill Emerson
The left hand positions take some getting used to and the chords (for the ambitious guitar player backing you up) are posted in the tablature.
I play the beginning on the video more like Bill and the tablature’s beginning is like more like the Jim Mills kickoff. Let me know what you think and thank you. The tablature is under the video. Like and share if you want!

“Molly & Tenbrooks”
This is a tune that has been played by many a banjo player over the years, but my favorite kickoff has always been by J.D. Crowe on “The Bluegrass Compact Disk Vol. 2. This tablature and video covers it pretty nicely. Please let me know what you think and thank you for your visit!
And here is the tablature for Molly and Tenbrooks:
“One Way Track” (video coming soon)
This is a killer tune going all the way back to the Boone Creek days. Jim is on his game for his portion of this song where he kicks off the piece and nails the ending hard enough to shatter brick! This solo can be found on the Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder album, “History of the Future” from 2001 and it is cut 10.
